2026 and Beyond!

It has been some time since my last blog post, but it certainly has not been from a lack of work!

The last few months have been incredibly busy as I’ve been focused on getting Book Three of the Empire Lost series ready for release. After the launch of Vanguard, which was published several months ago, I’ve been hard at work bringing the next chapter of Connor’s story across the finish line.

I also want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for the response to Vanguard. The reviews have been very strong, and I’m honestly thrilled that so many readers have connected with it. Seeing your thoughts, reactions, and support means a great deal to me.

Now, I’m excited to announce that Empire Lost: Crucible, Book Three in the series, will release next week on the 29th.

I cannot wait for this one to finally get into your hands. Crucible pushes the story forward in a big way, and I’m incredibly excited for readers to experience what comes next for Connor and the world of Empire Lost. You can find the book linked here on my website, which will take you directly to the Amazon store page.

Alongside Empire Lost, I’ve also been quietly working for the past year on an entirely different series. This new project will move away from science fiction and into a very different realm: historical fantasy fiction.

I’m extremely excited to begin work on Book One of that series now that Crucible is out the door. That said, do not worry. This does not mean Book Four of Empire Lost is being placed on hold. I will be working on both projects in parallel, and Connor’s story is absolutely continuing.

I’ve spent a lot of time worldbuilding for this new series, and I truly believe it has the potential to become something special. I’ll be sharing more news about it later this year.

That’s all I have for today, but going forward, I plan to post monthly updates here on the blog about my current projects, where things stand, and what readers can expect next.

Make sure to check out Empire Lost: Crucible, and once you’ve read it, please consider leaving a review. Reviews go a long way and help more readers discover the series.

Thanks,

Kirk
